Notes
'Branford Rambler' lady fern (Athyrium 'Branford Rambler') is a fern for shade gardens, borders, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and dry to moist soil. It grows 12 to 24 inches tall and spreads 12 to 24 inches wide. It does not flower, so its fronds carry the show. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.
Pairs well with Western sword fern, Liverleaf, and Ruby Spice sweet pepperbush.
