Notes

'British Queen' rose (Rosa 'British Queen') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The fragrant white blooms appear in late spring, early to late summer, and early autumn, and bees visit them. Samuel McGredy II bred it in 1912.

Pairs well with Baby's breath, Blue wild indigo, and Quick Fire panicle hydrangea.
