Notes

'Buccaneer' rose (Rosa 'Buccaneer') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Herbert C. Swim bred it in 1952. It bears fragrant, medium yellow blooms from late spring into early autumn, and bees visit them.

Pairs well with Clary sage, Switchgrass, and Nelly Moser clematis.
