Notes

'Bullseye' mountain laurel (Kalmia latifolia 'Bullseye') is a shrub for hedges, accents, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun to part shade and dry to moist, sandy or loamy soil. White flowers with purple banding inside open in spring and summer, and butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit them. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits.

Pairs well with Standing Ovation little bluestem, Halcyon hosta, and Northern red oak.
