Notes

'Raspberry Glow' mountain laurel (Kalmia latifolia 'Raspberry Glow') is a shrub for pollinator gardens, hedges, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun to part shade and dry to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Deep pink buds open to raspberry pink flowers in spring, and the dark green foliage stays on all year. Deer rarely make it their first choice. Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Big bluestem, Sassafras, and Trumpet honeysuckle.
