Notes

'Little Linda' mountain laurel (Kalmia latifolia 'Little Linda') is an evergreen shrub for accent and pollinator garden use. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. Its dense habit gives it a tidy shape. It blooms in spring and again in summer, and it draws butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds.

Pairs well with Indian grass, Pink Impression tulip, and Raspberry Sundae peony.
