This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. It blooms in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the flowers.
Pairs well with Blue Mouse Ears hosta, Snapdragon, Bigleaf hydrangea, and Maltese cross.
