Notes
'Bumbleblue' sage (Salvia nemerosa 'Bumbleblue') is a compact plant for borders and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun. It forms an upright clump 8 to 12 inches tall with fragrant, dark violet-blue flowers from early to late summer. It sits low on the menu for rabbits. Hummingbirds and bees visit the blooms.
Pairs well with Pincushion flower, Limeglow creeping juniper, Picture tulip, and Foxtail barley.
