Notes
'Bumblesky' sage (Salvia nemerosa 'Bumblesky') is a garden sage for borders and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun. Sky blue flowers open from early to late summer on a low, compact clump of fragrant, deep green leaves. The plant grows 8 to 12 inches tall, and hummingbirds and bees visit the blooms. Rabbits tend to nibble other plants first.
Pairs well with Limeglow creeping juniper, Foxtail barley, and Matrona october daphne.
