Notes

'Burgundy Bunny' fountain grass (Cenchrus alopecuroides 'Burgundy Bunny') is a grass for borders, containers, and rain gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It stays small at 12 to 15 inches tall and wide. Light tan to creamy white spikes appear from spring through autumn, and birds visit them. Deer rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Virginia sweetspire, Meadowsweet, and Chokeberry.
