Notes

'Burgundy' garlic (Allium sativum 'Burgundy') is a bulb for vegetable gardens, containers, and kitchen gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows at a moderate rate and has an erect habit. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. It blooms in spring and summer.
