Notes

'Inchelium Red' garlic (Allium sativum 'Inchelium Red') is a bulb for the food garden. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. It is grown for its large bulbs, which hold 9 to 20 cloves and have a subtle, complex flavor. The bulbs store 6 to 9 months and are good for braiding.

Pairs well with Honeycrisp apple, Greig's tulip, and Gertrude Jekyll rose.
