Notes

'Cal Poly' rose (Rosa 'Cal Poly') is a shrub for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. It stays bushy and compact, and it bears fragrant, medium yellow blooms that attract bees. Ralph S. Moore bred it in 1991. Blooms appear in late spring, again in summer, and into early autumn.

Pairs well with Rock rose, Switchgrass, and Nelly Moser clematis.
