Notes
California sea lavender (Limonium californicum) is a perennial for borders, low maintenance gardens, and xeriscape. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It stays evergreen and handles salt well, so it suits coastal gardens. White and violet flowers attract butterflies.
Pairs well with Thrift, Yerba mansa, and Beach suncup.
