Notes
'Campbell' umbrella bamboo (Fargesia robusta 'Campbell') is a grass for hedges, privacy screens, borders, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy or clay soil. It grows as a slow, evergreen clump that reaches 122 to 181 inches tall. It sits low on the menu for deer. Give it time to fill in, since it grows slowly.
Pairs well with Rock cotoneaster, Caucasian comfrey, and Common holly.
