Notes

'Canary Bird' manchu rose (Rosa xanthina 'Canary Bird') is an upright shrub for borders and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Deep yellow, fragrant flowers open in early to late spring and attract butterflies. W. Paul introduced it in 1907.

Pairs well with Frances Rivis clematis, Glasnevin nightshade, Blue Parrot tulip, and White Triumphator tulip.
