Notes

Canary island cranesbill (Geranium palmatum) is a perennial for borders, low maintenance beds, and naturalized areas. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Pale pink flowers with a magenta eye open in spring and again in summer, and butterflies visit them. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. The leaves stay green all year.

Pairs well with Wallflower, Mondo grass, and Rose.
