Notes

'Canby Red' raspberry (Rubus idaeus 'Canby Red') is a shrub for food gardens, hedges, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Its arching canes bloom in spring and summer, and butterflies, bees, and birds visit the plant. Deer tend to browse other plants first. Give the canes room to arch.

Pairs well with Empire apple, Serviceberry, Big bluestem, and Stargazer lily.
