Notes

'Candeur' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Candeur') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large double blooms open in late spring and are faintly fragrant. Petals are tipped lighter, which gives a silvery look. Auguste Dessert bred it.

Pairs well with Columbine, Smooth aster, and Blue grama.
