Notes

'Candy Floss' peony (Paeonia 'Candy Floss') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Light pink blooms shade over yellow in early to late spring, and butterflies visit them. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Derek Irvine bred it.

Pairs well with Autumn Frost hosta, Prairie Sun rudbeckia, and Nelly Moser clematis.
