'Candy Frost' primrose (Primula vulgaris 'Candy Frost') is a perennial for containers, borders, woodland gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade. The fully double, ruffled flowers are pink and white and smell fresh. They sit above compact, bright green leaves. It returns each spring and gets bigger and fuller every year.
Pairs well with White Feather hosta, Toad lily, and Rouge Cardinal clematis.
