Notes

'Capistrano' rose (Rosa 'Capistrano') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Its upright stems carry fragrant, medium pink blooms in late spring, again from early to late summer, and in early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. Theodore John Morris bred it in 1949.

Pairs well with Anise hyssop, Blanket flower, and Fountain grass.
