Notes

'Caramba' peony (Paeonia 'Caramba') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The single, light orange-red blooms are fragrant and attract butterflies and bees. William Henry Krekler bred it. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Sweet William, Nodding onion, and Switchgrass.
