Notes

'Carefree Spirit' rose (Rosa 'Carefree Spirit') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil of most types. Red blend flowers open in late spring, again in summer, and again in autumn. Butterflies and bees visit the blooms. Alain A. Meilland bred it in 2006.

Pairs well with Feather reed grass, Butterfly bush, Casa Blanca lily, and Ornamental onion.
