Notes

'Careless' gladiolus (Gladiolus 'Careless') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. The fragrant flowers open in early to late summer and attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Plants grow about 47 to 59 inches tall, so you may want to stake them.

Pairs well with Nymph gladiolus, Montbretia, and Elvira gladiolus.
