Notes

'Carmenta' peony (Paeonia 'Carmenta') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its pink, semi-double flowers have frilled guard petals and fade to near white at the edges. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. The upright plants need no staking.

Pairs well with Autumn Frost hosta, Charles Joly lilac, and Carnaval De Nice tulip.
