Notes

'Cavatina' peony (Paeonia 'Cavatina') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Single, fragrant cherry pink blooms have a golden-yellow center, and butterflies and bees visit them. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Arthur Percy Saunders bred it.

Pairs well with Wide Brim hosta, Nodding onion, Blue grama, and Little Beauty tulip.
