Notes
'Celway Purple' celosia (Celosia argentea 'Celway Purple') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, and accents. Frost will kill it, so set it out only after the last frost in spring. This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy or loamy soil. It grows fast and stays 2 to 4 inches tall. The magenta-purple blooms attract butterflies and bees. It sits low on the menu for deer.
Pairs well with Profusion zinnia, Hyacinth bean, and Mister Frans dahlia.
