Notes
'Shimmer' celosia (Celosia argentea 'Shimmer') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, and accents. It is not cold-hardy and will not survive freezing temperatures. This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy or loamy soil. Deer rarely make it their first choice. Airy, shimmering plumes come in a pastel blend of gold, pink, and lime. Butterflies and bees visit the blooms, and the plant tolerates drought.
Pairs well with California Giants zinnia, Blackfoot daisy, and Hyacinth bean.
