Notes
'Championship' tulip (Tulipa 'Championship') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. Its double flowers are dark purple-red and open from early to late spring. Plant the bulbs where other plants will not shade them, and feed with bulb food when shoots emerge. Let the leaves die back naturally after bloom.
Pairs well with Carlton daffodil, Monsieur Jules Elie peony, and Love-in-a-mist.
