Notes

'Charlotte' rose (Rosa 'Charlotte') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Its fragrant, medium red blooms attract butterflies and bees. Carl G. Duehrsen bred it in 1941.

Pairs well with Lilac, Paula Fay peony, Stargazer lily, and The President clematis.
