Notes

'Chérésade' tulip (Tulipa 'Chérésade') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. The deep scarlet blooms have a black base and open from early to late spring. The leaves are mottled, so they add interest before the flowers open.

Pairs well with Ice Follies daffodil, Ernest Markham clematis, and Little bluestem.
