Notes

'Cherry Bonica' rose (Rosa 'Cherry Bonica') is a shrub for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Dark red blooms open in late spring, again in summer, and into early autumn, and bees visit them. The glossy, medium green leaves form a bushy mound. Alain Meilland bred it in 2014.

Pairs well with Clary sage, Creeping thyme, and Ornamental onion.
