Notes

'Cherry Flash' peony (Paeonia 'Cherry Flash') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The single cherry-red blooms have darker flares and attract bees and butterflies. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Roger F. Anderson bred it.

Pairs well with Eastern columbine, Rainforest Sunrise hosta, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
