Notes

'Chesieres Alexandra' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Chesieres Alexandra') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Liselotte Hirsbrunner bred it. The semi-double flowers open pink and turn pure white after two days, showing yellow stamens. They sit on sturdy stems just above the dark foliage.

Pairs well with Wild ginger, Cinnamon fern, and Carnaval De Nice tulip.
