Notes
'Chesieres Pixel Princess' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Chesieres Pixel Princess') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The semi-double blooms open dark pink with heavy speckling and fade to pale pink over several days. Strong stems carry one to four buds, and golden stamens show in each flower. Liselotte Hirsbrunner bred it.
Pairs well with Siberian iris, Tickseed, and Carnaval De Nice tulip.
