Notes

'Chinese Chive' garlic chives (Allium tuberosum 'Chinese Chive') is an herb for borders, containers, and food gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. It blooms in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Butterflies and bees visit the flowers. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Black-eyed Susan, Karl Foerster feather reed grass, and Lavender cotton.
