Notes

'Chippewa' blueberry (Vaccinium 'Chippewa') is a shrub for borders, containers, and food gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, sandy or loamy soil. White flowers open on the plant, and bees, butterflies, and birds visit them. Give it acid soil, since blueberries need a low pH. The leaves also turn a new color in fall.

Pairs well with Honeyberry, Royal fern, Siberian iris, and Balsam fir.
