Notes

Honeyberry (Lonicera caerulea) is a shrub for hedges and meadow plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 2, or down to -50°F (-46°C). This plant likes full sun to part shade and average to wet soil. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. Yellowish-white, fragrant flowers open in early to late spring and again in early to mid summer. Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Shrubby cinquefoil, Coyote willow, Blue bead lily, and Rush.
