Notes

'Northcountry' blueberry (Vaccinium 'Northcountry') is a shrub for hedges and food gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet soil. Bees visit the white flowers, which have a pink blush in spring. The shrub grows 24 to 36 inches tall and wide, and its leaves turn colorful in fall. It is grown for fresh berries, jams, jellies, juices, and baking.

Pairs well with Honeyberry, Thimbleberry, Sensitive fern, and White spruce.
