Notes
'Blue Jay' blueberry (Vaccinium 'Blue Jay') is a shrub for hedges and the food garden. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet soil. White flowers open from early to late spring. The leaves turn a new color in fall, so it adds interest late in the season. It grows 60 to 84 inches tall and wide.
Pairs well with Juneberry, Honeyberry, and Karl Foerster feather reed grass.
