Notes

'Christchurch Remembers' rose (Rosa 'Christchurch Remembers') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The red blooms have darker edges and a sweet scent, and they open from early to late summer. Bees visit the flowers. Rob Somerfield bred it in 2016.

Pairs well with New England aster, Karl Foerster feather reed grass, Jackmanii clematis, and Mexican hat.
