Notes

'Christmas Pearl' Armenian grape hyacinth (Muscari armeniacum 'Christmas Pearl') is a bulb for borders, containers, rock gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. Soft violet blue flowers open in early to late spring, smell sweet, and attract bees. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Lily of the valley, Obsidian coral bells, and Black Parrot tulip.
