Notes

'Big Smile' grape hyacinth (Muscari 'Big Smile') is a bulb for borders, containers, rock gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Its violet-blue flowers open in early to late spring and draw butterflies and bees. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. J.C.N. van Bentem bred it.

Pairs well with Greig's tulip, Obsidian coral bells, and Blue fescue.
