Notes

'Christopher Archard' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Christopher Archard') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Fragrant pink blooms with mauve shading and crimson flecks open in early summer on tall, strong stems. The Storrs & Harrison Co introduced it in 1898.

Pairs well with Great blue lobelia, Blanket flower, and Cinnamon fern.
