Notes

'Chrysler Imperial' rose (Rosa 'Chrysler Imperial') is a compact shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil of most types. The dark red blooms are fragrant and appear in spring, summer, and autumn. Bees and butterflies visit the flowers. Dr. Walter E. Lammerts bred it in 1944.

Pairs well with Gaura, Feather reed grass, and Delphinium.
