Notes

'Circus' peony (Paeonia 'Circus') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Samuel E. Wissing bred it, and the fragrant double blooms are white with red streaks and flecks. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Butterflies and bees visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Prairie dropseed, Nodding onion, and Minuteman hosta.
