Notes

'City of Belfast' rose (Rosa 'City of Belfast') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. It grows as a bushy mound with glossy, medium green leaves and fragrant orange-red blooms. Bees visit the flowers from late spring into early autumn. Samuel Darragh McGredy IV bred it in 1968.

Pairs well with Butterfly bush, Queen of Night tulip, and Bigleaf hydrangea.
