Notes
'City of York' rose (Rosa 'City of York') is a vine for borders, cottage gardens, specimen planting, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and loamy or clay soil. Its fragrant white flowers open in spring and again in summer, and bees and butterflies visit them. Mathias Tantau, Sr. bred it in 1945.
Pairs well with The President clematis, Coral Charm peony, and Japanese holly.
