Notes

'Clementine Rose' columbine (Aquilegia vulgaris 'Clementine Rose') is a perennial for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It blooms in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Hardy geranium, Foxglove, Siberian iris, and Silver feather grass.
